  • Reporting directly to the Director Corporate Controlling and Accounting
  • Provide leadership to a team of 5 direct reports and all controlling staff in the subsidiaries / financial regions
  • Realise the standards for the Group’s global controlling policy
  • Support the decision making process of Board Members, Senior Management and the operative divisions by providing transparency and consultancy
  • Support the planning, steering and controlling the financial resources as well as key performance indicators of the Group, including cost transparency
  • Co-operate with of the management of the financial regions and with other HQ-departments with respect to
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Monthly reports
  • Deviation analysis and recommendations
  • Corporate accounting and reporting principles
  • Important restructuring projects
  • Is vital for the internal information flow
  • Has high visibility in the Group and provides important top management information data
  • Is located in Southern Germany


  • Analysis, evaluation and commenting of monthly business development data for all International Subsidiaries
  • Ensure that the budgeting and forecasting processes for all Subsidiaries of the Group are performed correctly and in-time
  • Co-ordination and monitoring of the mid- and long-term planning of the Subsidiaries, Restructuring Projects
  • Implementation, quality assurance and further development of controlling processes, concepts and tools
  • Delivering comprehensive business reviews of all subsidiaries following a regular scheme
  • Ensure the correct and in-time monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of all financial ratio
  • Provide performance measurement for all parties concerned
  • Provide business analysis for decision making, e.g. for investment decisions, to all Subsidiaries, Projects
  • Give consultative advice in situations of budget deviations on how to get back on track
  • Driving special projects in responsible position, e.g. completion of implementation of IFRS
  • Consolidation, Corporate Reporting and Financial Statements
  • Manage and build an international team by providing performance objectives, giving feedback and implementing training plans
  • Oversee the department's budget
  • Extensive international travelling is required


Education and qualifications

  • The level of the role requires some five to eight years pf relevant experience including people responsibility
  • University degree in Economics / Business Management, preferably majoring in Controlling, Finance / Accounting
  • Strong Controlling background from an dynamic international company
  • Familiar with different international reporting standards, mainly IFRS
  • Good understanding of Business Processes / Corporate Structures
  • Fluent in relevant IT skills
  • Fluency in German and English both in speaking and writing is a must

  • Strong personality with the confidence to deal comfortably with senior management and Board level
  • Effective communicator (both verbal and written)
  • Is experienced in convincing in presentations and negotiations at all levels

  • Hands on, ready to go personally to countries and into details where necessary

  • Experience in a large international group with multinational structures serving business clients
  • Ideally experience in the Automotive, Consumer Goods or in the Electronic Devices sector
  • Experience in building reporting structures for international business processes with strong customer specific contracting, development and services demands
  • Experience in monitoring sales, development, production, logistics and further corporate processes
  • About five to eight years in Finance / Controlling
  • First leadership experience, ideally with multinational teams and various locations
  • Experience in corporate role
  • International experience and mindset
